L'actuel développement de l'habitat coopératif en cession d'usage à Barcelone témoigne d'une volonté des habitants de se réapproprier le secteur du logement mais aussi plus largement le territoire. Dans cet article, nous verrons comment la réémergence de cette forme d'habitat alternatif a engendré une prise de conscience de la part des acteurs du logement barcelonais, menant notamment au développement de politiques municipales considérant le logement comme un bien commun. Mais les mouvements sociaux pour le droit au logement considèrent avant tout le commun comme praxis autour de l'idée de l'agir en commun, rompant ainsi en partie avec le concept défendu par la municipalité. Néanmoins, les projets de coopératives d'habitation en cession d'usage actuellement en développement à Barcelone attestent d'un nouvel agencement d'acteurs abordant le logement sous le prisme des communs, esquissant ainsi une nouvelle manière de concevoir l'habitat, vectrice de nouveaux communs territoriaux. The spread of housing co-operatives in Barcelona through the scheme known as ‘cession of use' attests to the inhabitants' desire to reclaim both the housing sector and the territory. In this article, we discuss how the reemergence of this form of alternative housing tenure has raised the awareness of the actors in the housing sector and led to the development of municipal policies considering housing as a common good. We also argue that social movements for the right to housing regard the commons above all as a form of praxis and that by defending the idea of community action, they break with the concept used by the city council. Nevertheless, the cession of use housing co-operatives currently under development in Barcelona attest to a reconfiguration of actors approaching housing through the lens of commons, thus suggesting an original conception of housing as a vehicle for new territorial commons.
