L'immeuble de rapport a constitué pendant la période coloniale à Oran une
organisation urbaine, un répertoire architectural et artistique riche et varié. Il
contribue encore aujourd'hui fortement à la structuration des espaces de la ville
ainsi qu'à l'enrichissement de l'environnement architectural. Aussi, la diversité des
immeubles de rapport que nous pouvons lire dans la ville n'a pas été voulue
comme décor, mais résulte d'une façon logique des enjeux des intérêts très
souvent contradictoires qui façonnent le tissu urbain. Cet article se propose d'examiner ces constructions et cherche à démontrer à travers une lecture typologique
de l'immeuble de rapport de la ville d'Oran que derrière leur uniformité typologique apparente, on peut mettre en évidence un processus d'évolution très

During the colonial era, investment property in Oran constituted a way of organizing the city, as well as a rich and varied architectural and artistic repertoire.
Even today, it contributes strongly to the structuring of the spaces of the city, as
well as to the enrichment of the architectural environment. Also, the diversity of
investment property that we can see in the city was not meant as decor, but results
logically from often conflicting interests that shaped the urban fabric. This article
proposes to examine these constructs and seeks to demonstrate, through a typological reading of the investment property of Oran, that behind an apparent
