From a reading of the analyses following the two stock market crashes of 1929 and 1987, it would seem that the literature produced on the shock shows the difficulty of analyzing them with the methodological apparatus available. Thus, one enters an area in which it is no longer a question of proving but of understanding why people believe what they believe. | |
