Comment la contrôler quand elle parcourt l'audience au point d'infléchir le cours d'un procès ? Can emotion, omnipresent during trial hearings, be brought from the status of unthinkable to that of thinkable ? How does it originate and manifest itself in the lawyer, the defendant, the judge and the jury ? How can it be controlled when it runs so high that it changes the course of a trial ? On the strength of the experience of prosecuting attorneys, this article sees in the acknowledgement of self-esteem a ceremonial validation of emotion in the courtroom.
