L'évolution de la « régionalisation pénale européenne » invite à réfléchir à l'instauration d'une véritable architecture pénale au niveau européen, dans le but de poursuivre efficacement cette construction. Pour garantir un renforcement cohérent et structuré de la coopération et de l'intégration pénales entre les États européens, il convient de réfléchir à l'instauration d'un espace pénal européen prenant en compte cette construction à travers toutes ses composantes géographiques, structurelles et matérielles. La proposition d'un nouveau concept, identifié sous le nom d'« Europe pénale », répond à cette nécessaire réorganisation et rationnalisation des moyens, en s'appuyant sur les fondements actuels et les transformations futures de cette construction pénale. The evolution of "European penal regionalisation" provides food for thought on the introduction of a genuine Europe-level penal architecture with the aim of pursuing this construction efficiently. To ensure that penal cooperation and integration between European states is strengthened in a coherent and structured way, we should think about the introduction of a European penal space that takes this construction into account in all its geographical, structural and material aspects. The proposal of a new concept under the name "Penal Europe" offers a response to this necessary reorganisation and rationalisation of resources, based on the current foundations and future transformations of this construction.
