Depuis fin 2015, le nombre de procès correctionnels pour participation à une « entreprise terroriste » connaît une augmentation inédite, particulièrement concernant les filières dites djihadistes irako-syriennes. Les jugements de velléitaires et de revenants constituent aujourd'hui le quotidien de la lutte judiciaire contre le terrorisme. À partir d'une étude ethnographique de plus d'une vingtaine d'audiences de jugement, cet article propose une description du contexte, des débats contradictoires, ainsi que des effets de cette massification du contentieux terroriste sur le fonctionnement actuel des autorités pénales. Since the end of 2015, the number of criminal court trials for participation in a « terrorist undertaking » has shown an unprecedented increase, notably in relation to the Iraqi-Syrian jihadist networks. Judgements of those planning to depart for, and returnees from these countries are now an everyday part of the judicial fight against terrorism. Based on an ethnographic study of over twenty court hearings, this paper proposes a description of the background, adversarial debates and the effects of this increase in terrorism cases on the current operation of the criminal justice authorities.
