À l'aube de la révision des lois de bioéthique, le transhumanisme suscite l'intérêt de la communauté scientifique mais également du législateur. Prothèses bioniques, implants cérébraux, thérapie génique ou encore téléchargement de la conscience, les transhumanistes repoussent inlassablement les limites naturelles de l'homme. Fervent protecteur de la personne humaine, le droit pénal est peu à peu gagné par ces nouvelles technologies qui se multiplient et qui peuvent être synonymes de progrès comme de danger. Ahead of a revision of the laws of bioethics, transhumanism is arousing the interest both of the scientific community and of the legislator. From bionic prostheses to brain implants, gene therapy, and even the downloading of consciousness, the transhumanists are relentlessly pushing the natural limits of the human being. As a fervent protector of said being, criminal law is slowly being won over by these rapidly multiplying new technologies, which can be synonymous with both progress and danger.
