La Jordanie a toujours su se jouer des contradictions induites
par ses choix politico-stratégiques pro-occidentaux. La
volonté de l'administration Trump d'évacuer les termes du
contentieux israélo-palestinien met cependant Amman
devant un défi d'ampleur, étant donné notamment
la forte composante palestinienne de la population
jordanienne. La monarchie hachémite saura-t-elle éviter

Jordan has always been able to cope with the contradictions
that are generated by its pro-Western strategic and
political choices. Nevertheless, President Donald Trump's
determination to sort out the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
adds to Jordan's challenges, bearing in mind that the
majority of the Jordanian population is of Palestinian
origin. The question now is whether and how the King of
