L'université internationale d'Afrique est une université islamique khartoumaise qui a pour vocation de former des étudiants étrangers. Bien qu'officiellement transnationale et indépendante, l'université, parrainée par Omar al-Bashir depuis 1991, a été largement instrumentalisée par le régime de l'Inqaz. L'étude de cette institution donne à voir un exemple concret de la réalisation du « projet civilisationnel » du gouvernement islamiste soudanais. À travers le développement de cet exemple, cet article interroge la capacité de résilience d'une institution mise au service du gouvernement d'Omar al-Bashir après la chute de son régime. The International University of Africa is an Islamic university in Khartoum that is specifically aimed at educating foreign students. Although officially transnational and independent, the university, sponsored by Omar al-Bashir from 1991, has been largely instrumentalized by the Al-Ingaz regime. The study of this institution provides a concrete example of the realization of the “civilizational project” of the Sudanese Islamist government.
