Résumé anglais Abstract. ― Cheesemongery societies, also called « » Haute-Savoie and in Savoie, bases of an original social and economic organisation, are in crisis. The origin of their prosperity, the making of cheese of the same kind as « gruyère », is called in question again by the advent of new technics and by the coming of new competitors. So, the structures of the country life in Savoie are deeply upset.
