Cet article a pour objet l'étude du « mouvement social sexué » de novembre-décembre 1995 à travers la presse. Tout en s'efforçant de questionner la sociologie des mouvements sociaux au nom de la transversalité des rapports sociaux de sexe, l'auteur part de deux questions : quelle était la nature des rapports sociaux de sexe dans le mouvement de novembre-décembre 1995 ? Dans quel type de rapports sociaux de sexe la presse s'est inscrite au moment de relater ce mouvement ? Il apparaît que les rapports sociaux de sexe traditionnels ont non seulement été reproduits par les acteurs du mouvement social mais sont aussi à l'origine d'un «traitement patriarcal » des événements par la presse. Le sujet social femmes, qui s'est reconstitué à l'occasion de la manifestation du 25 novembre 1995 pour les droits des femmes, était absent des autres composantes du mouvement social. This article focuses upon the "gendered social movement" of November-December, 1995, as seen by the press. The author strives to question the sociology of social movements in the name of the transversality of the social relations of gender, and starts with two questions : 1) What was the nature of the social relations of gender within the November-December 1995 movement ; 2) What is the context of gendered social relations within the press itself when they are describing this movement ? It appears that the traditional social relations of gender were not only reproduced by the agents of the social movement but were also at the origin of a "patriarchal treatment" of events by the press. Women, as a social subject, reappeared during the demonstration for the rights of women of November 25th, 1995, but was missing from the other events composing the social movement.
