Comment la mondialisation artistique et la globalisation esthétique sont interprétées dans les écoles supérieures d'art ? Par une réflexion sur la normalisation des pratiques artistiques du fait de la prédominance de certains modèles de réussites, par des conflits autour des traditions théoriques (pensées antiracistes, postcoloniales et décoloniales) et par une interrogation quant à la libéralisation du secteur éducatif. Cet article propose également un cadrage historique de l'arrivée de ces vocabulaires dans les écoles et de leur inscription dans débats idéologiques contradictoires. Il évoque les effets concrets des savoirs tacites en éducation artistique sur l'évaluation des jeunes artistes en écoles. Comment éviter le double écueil d'une assignation racialisante des étudiant·es ou bien de son contraire, une politique de recrutement aveugle au racisme structurel. Artistic and aesthetic globalizations have various effects in the context of French art schools: they bring about debates concerning the normalization of artistic practices by the models of artistic achievement, they spur conflicts around new theoretical traditions — specifically antiracist, postcolonial, and decolonial studies — and they multiply interrogations concerning the neoliberal transformation of higher education. This paper offers a historical framing of the import of these new terminologies in art schools and a rendering of the ideological debates they provoke. What are the concrete effects of tacit systems of belief in art education and especially in the evaluation of young artists? Is it possible to avoid the double pitfall of, on the one hand, racializing art students or, on the other, of following a color-blind politics of recruiting that ignores the effects of structural racism?
