La gestion du patrimoine culturel immatériel (PCI) se base sur un processus de patrimonialisation par le bas. Selon la convention Unesco de 2003, les communautés de pratique doivent participer activement à la définition de leurs objets patrimoniaux. Par ailleurs, ces définitions doivent respecter le caractère vivant du patrimoine en le décrivant sans le figer. Dans ce contexte, les outils numériques se sont démontrés particulièrement adaptés pour communiquer autour de ce type de patrimoine et notamment pour diffuser les inventaires nationaux de ces objets. D'un côté, ils peuvent permettre de mettre en place des environnements participatifs dans lesquels praticiens et amateurs peuvent s'exprimer et, de l'autre côté, ils rendent possible et facile la mise à jour continue des fiches d'inventaire. The management of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) is based on a bottom-up process of heritagization. According to the 2003 Unesco convention, communities of practice must actively participate in the definition of their heritage objects. Moreover, these definitions must respect the living character of the heritage by describing it without freezing it. In this context, digital tools have proven to be particularly suitable for communicating about this type of heritage and for disseminating national inventories of these objects. On the one hand, they can make it possible to create participatory environments in which practitioners and amateurs can express themselves and, on the other hand, they make the continuous updating of inventory files possible and easy.
