Cet article aborde l'attitude du Parti social-démocrate d'Allemagne (SPD) dans les moments de tension diplomatique internationale, en se concentrant plus spécifiquement sur les initiatives prises pour répondre à celles du socialisme français. Les moments clés qui sont analysés ici sont la « Doppelkrise » (1904-1905) et les années pendant lesquelles la guerre italo-turque a lieu (1911-1912). L'article montre que la manière dont le SPD réagit aux crises internationales change de manière significative entre 1904 et 1911. Si, lors de deux moments de tension de 1904-1905, le SPD a du mal à afficher sa solidarité internationale à l'égard du socialisme français, ce n'est plus le cas lors de la guerre italo-turque. En 1911-1912, en effet, l'Allemagne et la France ne sont pas impliquées dans la guerre en cours, le SPD et la SFIO affichent alors avec force leurs liens d'amitié. This article discusses the attitude of the German SPD during times of international diplomatic tensions, focusing specifically on the initiatives it took in response to the French Socialist movement. The key moments analyzed here are the Doppelkrise (double crisis) of 1904–1905 and the years during which the Italo-Turkish War took place (1911–1912). This article illustrates that the manner in which the SPD reacted to international crises evolved significantly between 1904 and 1911. If, during two tense moments in 1904–1905, the SPD found it difficult to exhibit international solidarity with French Socialism, this was no longer the case during the Italo-Turkish War. In 1911–1912, in fact, since Germany and France were not involved in the ongoing war, the SPD and SFIO strongly displayed their ties of friendship. Source : Éditeur (via OpenEdition Journals) |
