L'article pose au centre de la réflexion les conséquences psychiques que peut engendrer chez l'enfant l'absence ab initio d'un père, sa conception relevant d'un don de sperme anonyme. L'occasion s'offre de préciser la place du/d'un père, le rôle et le sentiment paternels, ainsi que les identifications qui s'originent à la fois dans la transmission phylogénétique du Père primitif de la horde ainsi que dans la légende personnelle et l'organisation œdipienne de l'enfant. En référence à l'ouvrage de J.M. Hirt, Le socle d'argile, la paternité invite et contribue au renoncement pulsionnel, travail d'ouverture psychique additionnel à celui des refoulements originaires et de l'intégration des interdits, d'autant plus manquant si l'enfant est pris dans l'aliénation dans et par la psyché maternelle. The article focuses on the psychological consequences that the absence of a father ab initio can have on a child whose conception is the result of an anonymous sperm donation. This is an opportunity to clarify the place of the father, the paternal role and feeling, as well as the identifications that originate both in the phylogenetic transmission of the primitive Father of the horde and in the personal legend and oedipal organization of the child. In reference to J.M. Hirt's work, Le socle d'argile, fatherhood encourages and contributes to the renunciation of impulses, a work of psychic openness additional to that of original repressions and the integration of prohibitions, all the more lacking if the child is caught up in alienation in and by the maternal psyche.
