Partant du constat de la violence inhérente à toute conceptualisation et à toute utilisation des concepts, l'article en dévoile la forme radicale prise avec le masochisme, concept élaboré à partir d'une série de désappropriations. Le terme doit son émergence à des histoires de pères et quelques sacrifices, plus ou moins consentis, depuis l'histoire singulière de Sacher-Masoch à son importation dans le champ de la psychiatrie, jusqu'à son élaboration autour du fantasme de fustigation et sa place dans la relation Freud-Anna. Starting out from the observation of the violence inherent to any conceptualization and to any use of concepts, this article unveils the radical form taken with masochism, a concept elaborated from a series of disappropriations. The term owes its emergence to stories of fathers and some sacrifices, which were consented to in varying degrees: from the singular story of Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, to its importation into the field of psychiatry, and its elaboration around the fantasy of being beaten and its place in the Freud-Anna relationship.
