Interrogeant pendant près de quatre années un dispositif participatif fondé sur l'alimentation dans un quartier défavorisé de Lille, cet article met au jour la moralisation douce qui est mise en œuvre par les autorités locales et les animateurs du dispositif. Face à la montée de protestations et afin de garantir la continuité du projet, des transactions spatiales et sociales et des compromis pratiques ont été initiés. This article examines a participatory mechanism based on food in a disadvantaged neighbourhood of Lille, over a period of almost four years. It reveals the gentle moralisation implemented by the local authorities and the facilitators of the mechanism. In front of rising protests and in order to guarantee the continuity of the project, spatial and social transactions, or practical compromises, were initiated, reflecting both the capacity for action of the weakest and the capacity for imposition of the most powerful.
