The Problematical Nature of Codification.
According to its widest definition, codification means a grouping together of texts. Codification permits reform or reformulation, whilst adhering to its aim of ordering law. Codification raises important questions, notably that of determining who ought to pursue codification. This is one of the principal legal challenges at the dawn of the twenty-first century.
