A la distinction désormais traditionnelle entre radios généralistes et radios thématiques peut être ajoutée une autre, celle qui sépare radios de programmes et radios de flux. En transposant les problématiques de l'analyse socio-économique de la télévision italienne, deux modèles émergent dont l'histoire, les referents culturels et le public valident l'altérité. En Italie, où coexistent près de 4 000 émetteurs, ces deux modèles traversent les secteurs public et privé. To the henceforth traditional distinction between general and thematic radios can be added that which separates programme radios from flow radios. If we transpose problematics from the socio-economic analysis of Italian television, two models emerge in which the alterity is validated by history, cultural referents and the public. In Italy, where close on four thousand stations co-exist, these two models cut across both the public and private sectors.
