L'essor des communications mobiles porte à croire à un changement plus global de la société, à la formation d'un mode de vie plus nomade. Le vecteur technique n'est pas le seul critère qui permette d'attester l'émergence d'un nouveau nomadisme. Cet article tente d'analyser les dimensions quasi anthropologiques qu'implique un tel phénomène, les mutations du mode de travail et de la notion même d'outil appliquée à l'activité de communication en situation de mobilité. Enfin, le concept de réseau est appelé à évoluer avec la dissémination des terminaux mobiles. Jusqu'alors associé à la rationalité étatique et au contrôle du territoire, comment le réseau peut-il échapper à l'Etat sans changer de nature ? Source : Éditeur (via Persée) |

The rapid development of mobile communications indicates an overall change in society towards a more nomadic lifestyle. Apart from the technological vector, other criteria also indicate such change. This article attempts to analyse the quasi-anthropological dimensions of the phenomenon, the mutations in ways of working and the very notion of a tool used to communicate in mobile situations. Clearly, the concept of a network itself will have to change with the dissemination of mobile terminals.
