À partir d'entretiens biographiques réalisés avec des jeunes ayant entre 26 et 32 ans, cet article examine l'impact de la mobilité sociale sur les pratiques spirituelles et leurs significations. D'une part, il interroge la place qu'occupe la famille dans le devenir spirituel. D'autre part, il montre comment l'ascension sociale d'enfants socialisés à la spiritualité dans la sphère familiale les conduit à négocier leur héritage spirituel selon les cadres normatifs de leur monde d'accueil. Based on biographical interviews conducted with young people between 26 and 32 years old, this article examines the impact of social mobility on spiritual practices and their meaning. On the one hand, it explores the place of the family in becoming spiritual. On the other hand, it shows how upward social mobility of children socialized to spirituality in the family environment leads them to negotiate their spiritual heritage according to the normative frames of the social world they end up in.
