Vingt ans se sont écoulés depuis le « non » à ce référendum. C'est pour Mouvements l'occasion de faire le bilan. Où en est-on de la construction néolibérale de l'Union européenne ? Le mouvement social européen arrive-t-il à peser ? Et, au moment où l'extrême droite est plus forte que jamais, quels projets et quelles stratégies pour les gauches européennes ? In 2005, the debate around the Treaty Establishing a Constitution for Europe (TCE), commonly known as the European Constitution or the Constitutional Treaty, sparked an unprecedented wave of popular and intellectual mobilization in France. Twenty years have passed since the “no” vote in that referendum. This is an opportunity for Mouvements to take stock of the current situation. Where do we stand today with the neoliberal construction of the European Union? Is the European social movement having an impact?
