Résumé On falsmability of consumer theory In this paper, we consider some recent evolutions in consumer theory, from a methodological viewpoint. Specifically, we first argue that a number of (traditional) difficulties may reduce the degree of falsifiability of the theory. We then advocate that some new developments may help solving these problems.
