Résumé anglais Recent research on the impact of the EU's Eastward Enlargement in the domestic politics of Central and Eastern Europe has focused on institutional and economic restructuring, adoption of the acquis communautaire and party politics with little attention to the implications for civil society dynamics and the development of organised interest representation. The aim of this article is to contribute to the current debate among academics and practitioners alike by offering a non-fragmented, domestic and transnational approach to the study of interest politics in the new democracies through the study of the increasingly Europeanising activity undertaken by interest groups.
