    Une géopolitique de l'Amérique latine prenant en compte la géographie doit partir des disparités du peuplement qui opposent des régions «pleines» et « vides », en tenant compte des données naturelles et des modalités de l'occupation historique du continent. Cette analyse doit être toutefois complétée par celle des axes qui relient les premiers en traversant les seconds, et des nouveaux itinéraires sont apparus dans les dernières décennies. Ces approches permettent enfin une synthèse sous deux formes, une reprise modernisée du traditionnel croquis régional de synthèse et un schéma plus épuré des pôles, axes et espaces transnationaux du continent.
    A geopolitical analysis of Latin America taking geography into account must start from the disparities in settlement that oppose «full» and «empty» regions, taking into account the natural data and the modalities of the historical occupation of the continent. This analysis must, however, be completed by an analysis of the axes that link the former by crossing the latter, and new routes have appeared in recent decades. These approaches finally allow for a synthesis in two forms, a modernised version of the traditional regional synthesis sketch and a more streamlined diagram of the continent's poles, axes and transnational spaces.

    La guerre d'Ukraine met en lumière les tendances contradictoires à l'œuvre dans le système énergétique mondial. D'un côté, la consommation d'hydrocarbures n'a jamais été aussi élevée, de l'autre, le déploiement des renouvelables n'a jamais été aussi rapide, et l'électrification progresse partout. L'Amérique latine, prudente dans ses engagements climatiques, reflète ces tendances. Les grands barrages hydroélectriques, existants et en construction, permettent d'afficher une production électrique décarbonée, particulièrement au Brésil et dans les pays Andins. Les gisements de renouvelables font l'objet de grands projets d'exploitation, du Mexique à la Patagonie. La production des hydrocarbures pourrait connaître un renouveau, en bénéficiant de nouvelles localisations, de nouvelles technologies et d'un retour sur les marchés du Venezuela. C'est la carte énergétique de l'Amérique latine qui est en train de changer.
    The war in Ukraine highlights the contradictory trends at work in the global energy system. On the one hand, hydrocarbon consumption has never been so high, while on the other, the deployment of renewables has never been so rapid, and electrification is progressing everywhere. Latin America, with moderata climate commitments, reflects these trends. Large hydroelectric dams, both existing and under construction, are providing decarbonized electricity production, particularly in Brazil and the Andean countries. Renewable energy are the subject of major development projects, from Mexico to Patagonia. Hydrocarbon production could be revived, benefiting from new locations, new technologies and a return to the markets of Venezuela. The energy map of Latin America is changing.

    Les processus de gentrification ont été identifiés dans les villes du Nord et, par la suite, du Sud. Nous analysons la gentrification à Cartagena de Indias (Colombie), une ville marquée par le déplacement des populations afro-descendantes des espaces centraux. Nous vérifions l'usage de la gentrification dans le contexte des relocalisations des habitants du quartier de Getsemaní. Pour ce faire, nous avons réalisé des lectures bibliographiques, des enquêtes documentaires, des observations, des enregistrements photographiques et des entretiens avec des citoyens. Nous avons trouvé des aspects de la gentrification dans ce quartier, mais dans son sens élargi et en tenant compte des spécificités latino-américaines.
    Gentrification processes have been identified in cities of the global North and, subsequently, of the global South. We analyse gentrification in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), a city marked by the displacement of Afro-descendant populations from central spaces. We verify the use of gentrification in the context of relocations of residents of the Getsemaní neighbourhood. For this, we carried out bibliographical reading, documentary survey, observation, photographic record and interviews with citizens. We found aspects of gentrification in this neighborhood, however, in its expanded sense and considering Latin American specificities.
