Comment le partage entre salariés et entrepreneurs a-t-il
évolué au cours du temps en France? Un bilan historique, à
la fois quantitatif et qualitatif, est nécessaire pour
comprendre le jeu des forces en présence dans la recherche
d'un équilibre instable entre positions salariées et statuts
d'entrepreneurs indépendants. Le recours à l'histoire est alors
indispensable pour mieux situer la position charnière de
l'époque actuelle sur ce thème sensible et crucial pour

Entrepreneurship versus wage system. Construction and deconstruction
of a model.
How the division between paid employees and entrepreneurial contractors did
evolve during time in France? A historical assessment, at the same time
quantitative and qualitative, is necessary to understand the play of the forces in
presence in the research of an unstable balance between paid positions and
statutes of independent contractors. The recourse to the history is then essential
for better locating the position hinge of the current time on this significant and
