Dans le contexte social et politique si agité de l'entre-deux-guerres, qui bouleverse la vie culturelle de la Bulgarie comme celle de ses voisins, les deux revues créées par le journaliste et artiste Geo Milev, témoin engagé de son époque, attestent des échanges et transferts qui ont alors vu le jour entre avant-gardes bulgares et européennes, notamment allemandes, grâce à un important travail de traduction, de reproduction et d'exposition d'œuvres.
