La montée en puissance du juge constitutionnel à partir des années soixante-dix a contribué fortement à la protection des droits et libertés fondamentaux. Mais la diversité de ses attributions et les limites tenant aux modalités de son intervention le handicapent et freinent le développement de sa jurisprudence. The growing role of the constitutional judge since the 1970s has greatly contributed to the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms. However, the diversity of his attributions and the limits stemming from the form of his intervention hamper him and check the development of his jurisprudence.
