Les explications antérieures du phénomène électoral gaucho-lepéniste soulignant d'une manière simpliste un seul aspect social ou attitudinal du processus - la xénophobie, la marginalisation sociale ou le mécontentement politique, par exemple, le modèle proposé ici prouve que tous les trois aspects sont nécessaires afin de déclencher la défection gauche-extrême droite. En particulier, sans un ensemble attitudinal qui contient au moins quelques éléments proches de l'offre politique du parti ou de son candidat, ni l'explication des «perdants de la modernisation » ni celle du « vote protestataire » ne sont suffisantes. Cependant, l'existence de systèmes de croyances hétérogènes qui contiennent simultanément attitudes et de gauche et de droite permet que de tels changements de comportement électoral puissent se produire uniquement à travers une hiérarchie fluide entre sous-dimensions de croyances, plutôt qu 'à travers un bouleversement des croyances. Ainsi, la défection se manifeste comme une évolution moins exacerbée que ne l'ont prévue d'autres commentateurs. THE LEFT-WING VOTE FOR LE PEN THE EXTREME MASK OF NORMAL DYNAMIC This article seeks to provide an explanatory model for the electoral phenomenon of gaucho-lepenisme Arguing that existing explanations tend to ascribe primacy to one social or attitudinal facet of the process such as xenophobia social marginalisation or political dissatisfaction this model presents evidence for all three aspects being necessary to producing left-wing defection to the Extreme Right In particular without an attitudinal array containing elements consonant with the party or its political supply neither the modernization loser nor the protest explanations of defection sufficient However the possible existence of heterogeneous belief sys tems containing both Left-wing and Right-wing elements means that such changes in voting behaviour can occur solely on the basis of fluid hierarchies of belief clusters rather through radical change in beliefs Defection is thus to be seen as less exacer bated change than previous analyses have suggested Source : Éditeur (via Persée) |
