Doris Donath : Sociological research trends in Israel.
A report on recent activities of the Sociological Department of the Hebraic University, the Isralian Institute for Applied Social Research, the Falk Institute for Economic Research in Israel, the Henrietta Szold Institute. Theoretical and applied research are closely combined. They explore the reality of the newly created Isralian society through its essential components: the integration of immigrants, development of the different communities ? Kibboutz, moshav, new cities ? the development of professional structures, relations between various ethnic groups, the making of a new class of leaders, educational and modernisation problems.
