François-André Isambert : Mathematic translation and verification of a few system of causal relations.
Causal analysis occupies a central place in Boudon's book : « Mathematical analysis of social facts ». He has tried to define the translation of simple relations in terms of functions, to apply regression analysis to complex structures by using a hypothesis of dissociation of causes and to examine, as a hypothesis, the validity of the verification process of some suggested structures.
