La confrontation entre la culture syndicale et la culture gestionnaire est inscrite, dès l'origine, dans l'histoire longue du mouvement syndical. En même temps la crise économique actuelle a suscité des démarches nouvelles, complexes, visant à contester la rationalité même des normes et des critères de gestion dans certaines entreprises. L'observation participante d'un certain nombre d'expérimentations syndicales a permis de mettre en lumière les difficiles cheminements qui conduisent certains militants à « sortir » du monde du travail pour aborder celui de la gestion. Jean Lojkine : Trade-union intervention in management : a shock between two cultures.
The confrontation between trade-union culture and management culture has been part of the long history of the trade-union movement since its origins.
