| Résumé anglais | SAINT-SIMON'S EUROPE OF EUROPEANS Saint-Simon's «De la réorganisation de la société européenne» (1814) has long been considered one of the first texts to put forward the notion of the League of nations. It suggests that a « European Parliament » be set up in order to bring about and maintain peace in Europe. By drawing on some of Saint-Simon's earlier writings, we ask in this article what conceptions of European identity define the Europe of this institutional project. | |
