A TERMINOLOGICAL CHANGE IN EAST GERMANY CRISIS The term « Revolution », as opposed to « Reform » and « Wende », was used by the Opposition in East Germany in 1989 as soon as official discourse adopted the latter terms. The Opposition thus reappropriated a term that had been one of the key words of Communist ideology. | |
