L'auteur montre dans cet article, l'apport que peut avoir la sociologie militaire pour l'analyse du changement politique. La juridicisation de la question militaire, notamment pour apprécier le sort des "putschistes", constitue un moment fort pour apprécier la redéfinition du rôle des forces armées au sein de la société espagnole. L'armée rentre alors dans le rang. Par la suite, les réformes institutionnelles, telles que la création d'un ministère de la Défense ou encore la suppression de la mili (service militaire), constitue alors les symboles du changement amorcé. In this article, the author shows the usefulness of military sociology as a means of analyzing political change. The judicialisation of military issues in Spain, in particular over the trial of those involved in the 1981 attempted coup, provides an issue area through which one can grasp the redefintion of the role of the military within Spanish society. In a word, the army has become a normalized part of this society. Over the years since the attempted coup, a number of institutional reforms, such as the creation of a Ministry of defence or the abolition of military service, have constituted symbols of ongoing change. These acts have participated in a more general trend which has brought about the professionalisation of the Spanish armed forces. Source : Éditeur (via Persée) |
