C. Vidal—~~The Sex War in Abidjan. ~~Male, Female, $.. In all social strata the relationship between the sexes is openly antagonistic, with men trying to keep women in dependence, while women fight for security even more than for recognition. This situation is the direct consequence of the economic boom, 'wild' capitalism generating consummation—without the counterbalance , of any kind of Weberian austerity ethics, and also without social hypocrisy apart from a few official pronouncements.
