M. Fiéloux—~~'Invisible' and 'Mute' Women : Concerning the Ibo Riots of 1929.~~ An analysis of the hidden factors in three studies of the Ibo women's riots of 1929 written by women anthropologists. These studies, while underlining the forgotten—female—element in the anthropological study of African societies, also demonstrate a feedback effect concerning sex-relations in the authors' own societies.
