Le conflit entre L'Érythrée et l'Éthiopie a modifié la donne régionale, mais aussi les rapports de force entre le pouvoir et l'opposition au Soudan. Le régime de Khartoum, qui a mené une série de réformes institutionnelles pour sortir de son isolement, est désormais confronté à des tensions internes. Mais le rapprochement avec l'opposition n'en est pas facilité pour autant, car cette dernière est divisée sur sa stratégie d'affrontement militaire tout comme sur la nature des discussions qu'elle pourrait engager avec le régime. The Sudan at the Heart of the Eritrean-Ethiopian Conflict The conflict between Eritrea and Ethiopia has modified not only regional stakes, but also relations between state power and the opposition in the Sudan. The regime in Khartoum, which has undertaken a series of institutional reforms to end its isolation, now confronts internal tensions. But reconciliation with the opposition has not been facilitated since the latter is divided over its military strategy, as well as over how to proceed with negotiations with the regime.
