Cet article cherche à dévoiler, par la généalogie, le caractère religieux de la désacralisation du monde et de la rationalisation de l'existence qui caractérisent le capitalisme technoscientifique. En soutenant l'accélération du temps social et en annonçant l'immortalité, ce dernier n'emporte l'adhésion des masses qu'il plonge dans la désolation que par la promesse de combler concrètement (et non plus symboliquement) l'écart entre le temps du monde et le temps de l'individu. Using genealogy, this article aims to reveal the religious aspect of the desecration of the world and the rationalization of the existence that characterise technoscientific capitalism. By supporting the acceleration of social time and heralding immortality, the latter only gains the support of the masses that it plunges into hopelessness by promising to fill concretely (and not just symbolically) the gap between the time of the world and the time of the individual.
