Bush's second term, an opportunity to restore the Mexico-US relationship Since the terrorist attacks of September 11 and the disagreement over the US intervention in Iraq, the Mexico-US relationship has stalled. Growing disinterest for America's southern neighbor among the Bush Administration is hampering projects on immigration and North American economic integration.
