Cet article présente une conceptualisation du nationalisme ordinaire en tant que processus de socialisation à la nation. Il souligne ainsi la place importante qu'occupe l'enfance dans l'intériorisation de la normalité du système des nations et de l'idée d'appartenance nationale. This article presents a conceptualization of banal nationalism as a form of socialization to the nation. It therefore draws attention to the role of childhood in the interiorization of the normality of the system of nations and the notion of national belonging. It presents some initial results from an ongoing study that suggests that this interiorization occurs at a very young age and is fraught with tensions and contradictions.
