Le cinéma colombien est longtemps resté en friche, en particulier dans son rapport au politique. Obnubilé par la violence, il s'est concentré sur le trépas sans prendre à bras-le-corps la mise en scène de la mort, sauf exceptions. The Colombian cinema remained a piece of fallow land during a long time, specifically in its relation with the political (medium, world, etc...). The obsession with violence led it to concentrate on the fact of passing away without tackling the staging of death head on, notwithstanding the exceptions.
