L'objectif de cet article est de comprendre la structure initiatique du manga afin de montrer ce qui caractérise le type de héros issu de ce support. L'engouement populaire pour le manga marque une revalorisation des thèmes initiatiques. Le manga véhicule ainsi tout un imaginaire initiatique qui met en avant l'évolution ontologique d'un jeune héros qui tente de dépasser sa condition profane et ordinaire. The purpose of this article is to understand the initiatory structure of the manga in order to show what characterize the type of hero stemming from this writing shape. The popular craze for the manga denotes a revaluation of the initiatory themes. Thus manga brings out an initiatory imaginary pointing out the ontological evolution of a young hero who attempts to live beyond its ordinary and profane condition.
