La mythocritique et la mythanalyse de Gilbert Durand sont des méthodes d'investigation des textes et de leur contexte. Leur application aux textes de la science-fiction contemporaine peut permettre de dégager certains grands mythes qui irriguent non seulement ces textes littéraires mais également le contexte social dans lequel nous vivons et le rapport que nous entretenons avec la technoscience. L'exemple ici développé est celui du mythe de l'apothéose dont on s'attache à montrer qu'il se dissimule derrière les idées dites transhumanistes. Le parcours proposé part donc des textes science-fictionnels pour aboutir aux discours scientifiques, philosophiques et spirituels qui critiquent ou défendent le courant transhumaniste afin de montrer que les récits de science-fiction sont le miroir mythique des grands courants qui traversent la société. Gilbert Durand's mythocritic and mythanalysis are two methods of investigating texts and their contexts. Their application to contemporary science-fiction texts is a way of bringing out the myths which irrigate this literary genre, the social context we are living in and the relationships we have with technoscience. I will develop the example of the apotheosis myth which is hidden behind transhumanist ideas. My demonstration begins with science-fictional texts and ends with scientific, philosophical and spiritual views criticizing or defending transhumanism in order for me to show that science-fiction stories are like a mythical mirror of great social and technoscientific movements.
