THE TRAP OF A « DISCURSIVE HABITUS » One of the objectives of the IUFM is to prepare young teachers for the areas in which they will be working. However, by insisting on cultural differences, the instructors reinforce the « discursive habitus » which masks the dysfunctiuns of the system through a concentration on the students' origins. | |
