L'analyse de cette dénomination dans quelques articles de presse français montre que, contrairement à d'autres du type clandestins, illégaux, elle traduit une approche nouvelle dans le traitement de la question de ces personnes. | |
| Résumé anglais | «SANS PAPIERS»: THE USE OF THE TERM IN FIVE NATIONAL DAILY NEWSPAPERS FROM MARCH TO AUGUST 1996 Used for the first time in the 1970 's, the term «sans-papiers», meaning people without residency documents, reappears in the socio-linguistic dynamic which, since 1996, has accompanied the movement appealing for them to be given the necessary documentation. The analysis of this denomination in a selection of articles from the French Press shows that in contrast to other terms, such as « clandestine » or « illegal immigrants », it demonstrates a new approach to dealing with the problem posed by these people. | |
