Résumé anglais In this article we will focus in the analysis of horror in Cristian Rodríguez´s Madrugada Negra, winner of the “Premio Biblioteca Nacional de Novela 2007”. This text, which moves away from the testimonial to tell a truth from a non-mimetic mode, shocking the reader and getting him closer to suffering, examines the limits of the human and may fall within the type of artistic expression advocated by Adorno, one that “represents the unrepresentable” staging the aporia of the after-Auschwitz writer.
