La notion ouverte et incertaine de « nouvelle Europe » fait référence à un grand nombre de conceptions qui sont liées à la transformation de l'espace européen et des États le constituant depuis 1989. L'analyse portera sur trois textes de théâtre, Europe (1994) de David Greig, Transit (2007) de Carles Batlle i Jordà et Warten auf den Türken (2009) de Andrzej Stasiuk, qui abordent, moyennant des constellations dramatiques spécifiques, les implications des modifications de la sémantique de l'espace européen. À travers la superposition ciblée des perspectives, un savoir esthétique complexe se profile qui contribue à la constitution de l'Europe en tant que projet imaginaire collectif se situant entre nationalité et globalité, et en est en même temps le reflet. The open and elusive term „new Europe“ refers to a variety of notions that have accompanied transformations of the European space and its constitutive national states since 1989. Europe (1994) by David Greig, Transit (2007) by Carles Batlle i Jordà and Warten auf den Türken (2009) by Andrzej Stasiuk are three European theatrical texts in which the altered semantics of the European space and their implications are negotiated within specific dramatic constellations. By superimposing their particular perspectives, a complex aesthetic knowledge is made visible that both constitutes and reflects Europe as a collective imaginary concept between nationality and globality.
