L'auteur décrit les effets de la mutation sociétale en cours et les effets du processus de désinstitutionalisation et d'individualisation qui lui est lié, sur l'organisation du couple contemporain. Il met cette organisation nouvelle en perspective avec celle, bien décrite par les thérapeutes systémiciens, du couple « vingtième siècle » et propose une modélisation graphique simple (qu'il nomme objet miroir) qui permet aux différents couples de se voir se comporter et partant, de produire l'information nécessaire à un changement favorable du point de vue des protagonistes. The contemporary couple: between institution and connectionThe author describes the effects of the current societal mutation and the effects of the process of deinstitutionalization and of the actual bounded individualization on the organization of the contemporary couple. He puts this new organization in perspective with that, very described by the systemic therapists, of the couple “twentieth century” and proposes a simple graphic modeling (that he calls object mirror) that allows the various couples to see behaving and therefore, to produce the necessary information for a favorable change from the point of view of the protagonists.
