L'objectif de cet article est de montrer que le rôle d'Industrial Goodwill a été injustement négligé dans la construction intellectuelle de John R. Commons. À travers sa promotion de la « démocratie industrielle » afin de résoudre les conflits sociaux, ce livre contribue pourtant à lui fait prendre conscience des limites de ce modèle. This article intends to show that the role of Industrial Goodwill in John R. Commons's intellectual construction has been unfairly neglected. In promoting “industrial democracy” in order to solve social conflicts, this book yet contributes to make him aware of the limits of this model.
